Gill Nye

Executive Director of HR

Gill is an experienced HR Leader with a strong commercial focus and a substantial track record of working at a strategic and operational level in HR and Payroll. Responsible for the longer-term direction of HR services evaluating the impact of statutory and market changes, Gill identifies opportunities and risks and builds capability to respond to these situations.

Gill has experience in establishing and transforming HR functions, developing people strategies, and leading large HR teams alongside considerable experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, and ensuring the provision of effective, quality HR services. Gill strives to improve the employee experience and to put people at the heart of everything.

Elliot Masters

Head of HR Advisory & Strategy
Leadership Team

With a passion for data and improving employee experience, Elliot leads our external HR Advisory services and leads on our internal HR Strategy within the division and wider group. Elliot has developed substantial HR experience working across Payroll, Consultancy, Recruitment, and internal HR teams.

Elliot is a member of the British Psychological Society and a certified GDPR Practitioner, Elliot balances a keen interest in understanding people with ensuring the business protects employee data and uses it to make data driven decisions.

Kelly Huntington

With over 15years’ experience in commercial operations and a level 7 in strategic leadership and management, Kelly oversees HR Connect's commercial division. She has accumulated a lot of sales and marketing knowledge throughout the course of her career, with the education sector being her most recent experience.

Kelly is passionate about enhancing the customer experience by delivering exceptional, personable consultative services.

Nicola Hirshfield

Nicola is a Chartered MCIPP and FCIPD-qualified strategic HR leader with over 30 years of experience managing sizable teams that provide high-quality HR and payroll services to the education, local government, and health sectors. having a vast amount of experience in creating, putting into place, and maintaining HR/Payroll Shared Services.

Nicola provides services that help clients by adding value and achieving efficiency, allowing them to concentrate on what matters to them. Nicola works closely with clients to satisfy their goals and expectations and achieves and delivers high levels of customer satisfaction. She has a history of forming successful collaborations.

Ross Miller

Head of Workplace Wellbeing Services

With an extensive background in commercial operations, Ross has spent the last 10 years working with Education, Public and Health sector organisations to help deliver HR solutions into the market.

As a Mental Health First Aid England Instructor and Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner Ross heads up our Health and Wellbeing Service; providing operational and strategic direction for our Wellbeing Consultancy, Clinical and Counselling support services.

Lirette Mill

Senior HR Advisory Manager

Lirette has more than ten years of HR expertise in the educational sector. She holds a post-graduate degree in Legal Practice in addition to her undergraduate law degree and CIPD certification. Lirette began her legal career in 2003 while employed by a sizable private law firm in Kent. In 2010, she relocated to HR Connect. Lirette has a track record of successfully resolving disputes and is very competent at handling employee grievances. She works well with all types of stakeholders and has good communication skills to ensure that Kent Teach and HR Connect Advisory's services are delivered successfully.

The Safer Recruitment Consortium has certified Lirette as a Safer Recruitment trainer. She presently serves as a governor at an infant school that is controlled by the Church of England. She serves as the Policy Committee Chair and Co-Chair of the Quality of Education Committee as part of her governor duties.

Abigail Ambrose

She is passionate about the sales experience and ensuring customers feel listened to. Abigail strives to build trust with her customers and has the ability to ask the right questions and provide solutions aligned with their needs and goals.

Abigail leads a team of sales professionals at HR Connect and is committed to delivering an attentive, adaptable, and honest sales experience.

Victoria Dryden

Victoria has a strong operational expertise across many industries. Victoria's role as a Customer Experience Manager is to make sure HR Connect keeps a proactive and engaged relationship with its clients and that their dedicated account manager consistently provides great service, ensuring that clients know they are always getting the best service.

Victoria focuses on building and developing effective support teams, and her passion for improving the customer journey and customer satisfaction fuels her work. Customer service is Victoria's strongest suit, although she is also proficient in account management and general sales. Victoria enjoys speaking with customers, getting to know them on a personal level, and meeting all their needs.

Carly Boiston

Carly is an enthusiastic HR & Payroll expert with over 10 years of experience in the industry. She has a customer-focused approach and is constantly working to optimise procedures and improve service delivery in order to enhance the overall customer experience.

Carly began her career at Kent County Council as a Business Administration Apprentice and has since handled several HR and Payroll positions, including Onboarding Officer. Carly leads our operational team to produce a high-quality, multi-disciplinary service in accordance with rules, practises, and legislation. She has vast experience and expertise in the HR and payroll fields.

Lorraine Fullbrook

HR & Payroll Operational Manager

Managing our HR Helpdesk, Teachers Pensions and Education services, Lorraine has 15 years of payroll experience providing HR/Payroll services for a diverse customer base. She possesses a CIPP Foundation Degree in Payroll Management and holds extensive in-depth knowledge across multiple Terms and Conditions within Local Government, schools and multi-academy trusts.

Lorraine has been the operational lead for a number of service transformation and improvement initiatives as well as the onboarding of external clients for HR/Payroll services, including large-scale TUPE transfers. She has a strategic interest in service enhancement and customer engagement and strives on delivering improved and modernised services to customers.

Charlotte Green

HR & Payroll Operational Manager

Charlotte has more than 14 years of experience working in an HR and payroll environment with her area of expertise of pre-employment screening and recruitment. Charlotte has extensive understanding in this area, including Right to Work in the UK, identity checks, references, and Disclosure and Barring Service Checks. Charlotte is also responsible for onboarding new starters to payroll.

Protecting employees and making sure employers follow constantly evolving laws are Charlotte's main priorities.

Sonia Rance

Sonia has more than 6 years of HR and payroll expertise working with a variety of our clientele. Sonia began her career as an HR assistant for Kent County Council before moving on to various HR and payroll positions, such as training and compliance officer and, most recently, operations manager.

Being CIPP qualified has ensured that Sonia leads a compliant and knowledgeable team to deliver seamless HR & payroll service.
