What is a Strategic Legal Case Review?

A Strategic Legal Case Review provides schools and academy trusts with an independent assessment of legal risk, procedural compliance and strategic options at any stage of an employment matter. It can be particularly valuable where a grievance or complaint has been raised, ACAS Early Conciliation has commenced, legal action has been threatened, a complex disciplinary, capability or ill-health process is underway, discrimination or whistleblowing issues may arise, settlement is being considered, or senior leaders and trustees require assurance about the school or trust’s position.

why choose us

What is the benefit of a Strategic Legal Case Review?

A Strategic Legal Case Review can identify the strengths and weaknesses of your school or trust’s position, potential Employment Tribunal, discrimination and whistleblowing risks, procedural issues, likely financial exposure, available alternatives and recommended next steps. This provides leaders with a clearer basis for deciding whether to continue a management process, pursue informal resolution, explore settlement or prepare to defend potential proceedings.
