Safer Recruitment Training Courses 2026/2027

Safer recruitment isn’t just about making the right recruitment decisions, it’s about embedding a culture of vigilance that protects children and young people throughout the entire employment lifecycle.

With our recent Safer Recruitment courses not only selling out, but also receiving amazing delegate feedback (see testimonials below), HR Connect are offering even more choice in how you access our Safer Recruitment training for the 26/27 academic year:

  • Virtual training for minimal disruption

  • Face‑to‑face sessions for those who prefer in‑person learning (Venue: KCS, Papyrus Way, Aylesford, Kent, ME20 7FE)

  • Full‑day courses for deep, uninterrupted focus

  • Two half‑day sessions to fit around your school timetable

  • Plus NEW Refresher Course - half day, virtual.

Whichever format you choose, all courses are designed specifically for the education sector, equipping Headteachers, Senior Leaders, Line Managers, School Business Managers, HR Professionals, Governors, Trustees and anyone in the education sector involved in the recruitment and selection of staff, with the tools, insights, and mindset to safeguard effectively, from recruitment to daily practice.

Ensuring legal compliance and adopting best practice is critical and that starts with making sure everyone who needs to be trained is trained and that their training is up to date. At HR Connect we recommend that training is undertaken every three years.
